On April 19, 2017, Shohei Shigematsu gave the Sydney Gross Memorial Lecture at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. Shigematsu spoke on OMA's recent works across typologies, as well as his research preoccupations with perenniology in the art world, alimentary design, and the proliferation of generic mixed-use architecture.
