OMA has won a competition for the École Centrale Paris and its
urban developments in Saclay. The project, led by Clément Blanchet,
Director of OMA projects in France, has been selected to develop
the engineering school, through a competition process against four
international architectural practices.

The building will be based in close range to the existing
school, Supélec, main partner to the École Centrale Paris, and in
direct correlation with the future train connection linking
Saclay to central Paris.
The jury, headed by Hervé Biausser, Chairman of the École
Centrale Paris, was composed of 21 people. A press conference,
featuring a detailed presentation, will be held in September 2012,
providing further information and illustrations about the
project.
